that means (hopefully) our posts and profiles (etc) will all be saved and we can move forums. the only two things standing in the way are 1) a hosted site, and 2) the fact that it'll actually work

wow, 8 minutes after I sent it, I got a reply to the email I sent to the poster - once I get back home and have time (I'm currently in Chicago) I'll try it out ..
....that is.. as soon as I find a host for HR(F)

So does this actually transfer the information of the PB HR onto the IF HR? You'll have to excuse that I don't know a lot about this. Interesting anyways.

Yeah... the information is supposedly gonna all be there. Its legality is questionable... I guess it would motivate HR to actually find hosting too...

Oh really? lol care to explain why? I mean I don't see anything wrong with it, but I'd like to hear your opinion

I wouldn't delete the proboards HRF because it's good to keep it for reference (plus if anything goes wrong, we'll still have this place) .. I think it just copies everything over, it doesn't actually MOVE stuff.

SMF is essentially the same thing as proboards, though.. in what way is PB easier to work with?

I guess you could move to SMF, just as long as we have THIS forum on proboards to fall back on in case something goes wrong on SMF.
