Anybody Else Loving the New Member Profiles and Lists?

I am amazed at how much mnore detailed the ways you can sort the members now, especially the bar graph from the top posters list, also the buddies feature is great as part of the profiles as well. That alone made the conversion worth it for me. What do all of you think?

Hmm, I don't really know what the buddy feature you're talking about is (probably something really obvious, lol ), but I love the statistics we have here as well.  Actually I noticed the thing with the post by each person in a thread doesn't show up in this skin.  That's probably one of the only negatives I say about the skin, lol.  I've always enjoyed stats so this kind of thing is really interesting.

Yeah, I enjoy looking at all the stats and stuff. But I agree, they're a bit hard to understand. IMO.

The buddy thing is helpful if you want to PM someone who's not online (I guess..) .. I'm not quite sure lol

SMF is a great site and I have noticed that the skins are also alot more vivid. I don't know if its the way FW designed them or if it is my computer but they are really cool.

Yeah, although the forum has been down a lot and SMF seems kind of unreliable, I actually like it better than the ProBoards forum. I'm still trying to figure everything out, though.

Yeah, that's not SMF. SMF is not like ProBoards in that they don't actually give you hosting. We're hosted by x10, Leah, which is very unreliable and buggy, you're right.

yeah, the server we are hosted on is reaaaally slow..

SMF itself isn't bad, it's just the hosting that's slightly unreliable..

lol that's because it's so much more customizable than proboards, so the skins I design tend to look better

yeah this one's really fancy-shmancy, I love it lol!!  plus all the random profile features like y'all were talking about are awesome....I come online and like don't even post b/c I spend all my time exploring stuff like that

Yeah, the hosting must be pretty bad because the forum takes like twice as long to load.

I'll always a place in my heart for PB, mainly because it's so so recognizable and I've most of my forum days somewhere like that.  But I still love the new features we get here.  The conversion seems like it's gone pretty successfully.  And except for those Hall of Fame threads (I'm not really sure what happened there.), everything seems to have worked out.

and yeah you're right, like the first time I ever came on here it seemed really fast, but it seems to be getting slower and slower almost
