School Closings Thread

I thought I would start this thread in light of the large amounts of snow so many members have seen. Basically it's a chance to gloat about any extra day off you might have from school.

We got 13 inches but I don't think there's gonna be a snow day unless it snows really hard late tonight/early morning.

There's a chance we could have a snow day, but I'm not sure how beneficial it will be.  Tomorrow has a decent shot at it, so we'll see I guess, lol.

My school officially has a two hour delay, which IMO is better than a closing because I don't have to make it up when the weather's nicer.

Well today is not a snow day for me because I'm certently at school. but we do have all of the buses cancelled and there is only 5 of us in this class.

We're off completely.  And the best part is we don't actually have to make it up.  I'd rather have just gone actually, but at least the teachers set aside a cushion before the holidays by leaving the last day with no real work to accomplish.  Now we'd put that worktime into that day.  But it's nice to have an extended weekend.
