My school hours are 8:15 to 2:30 although they ring the warning bell at 8:05 it gives us ten minutes to get to classs. We get a 40 minute lunch period at 11:00.

That reminds me of how we have the jeopardy song start to play in the last minute to know people need to hurry.  I remember one time in grade 9 when I entered the classroom just as it ended. sm5  We usually have 5 minutes in between classes which is fine for the size of our school, although when you're in opposite ends of it it does cut things close.  I just take my books with me for the next class instead of having to go to my locker.

Yeah, it really is unique seeing people rushing into their classrooms as the song is about to end.  I generally do not cut things so close, but I suppose it happens for everyone once in a while.

I'm the same way I don't like cutting things to close but for some classes I hate being early.

I never have enough time after gym class, mainly because we are never back inside from playing flag football or whater on time and then I have Spanish on the other side of the building. How long are everyone's class periods, ours are 40 minutes.

Ours are 75 minutes, lol.  I think it's more efficient to have half the classes for half of the year than all of them for the whole year.  The length of the day remains the same, but you spend less time in the hallways.

Well my school hours vary..On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I usally leave home around 9:20 because I don't have a 1st period...But if I have to go to tutorial I leave at 9:00. I get out every day at 3:10 because of my skinny 7th..On Wednesdays and Fridays, my school starts at 7:50.

All I know is what he taught me. Love, friendship, and what it means to truly live. Some call him a monster, something children are terrified by. I only know him by what he called himself. about how many hours worth of homework do y'all get per night?  I'm a junior so I get particularly a lot anyway, but even as a freshman and sophomore we usually have like 3-5 hrs.....

Sometimes I don't have any, whereas others I'll have a few hours to do.  My classes generally have the mindset that if you can the work complete during class time, go for it.  I've never been one to have too many hours of homework though.  I remember in grade 7 when they said you said expect three hours every night and it on average wouldn't be more than 15 minutes, lol.

that's true, that's the way freshman year was too lol.....in my boring classes I do the homework rather than paying attention, but otherwise I have to take notes and do the homework at night so that's pretty much a b*tch :P

Well since I'm in 11th grade I seem to have so much more homework this year. I usually have at least 1-2 hours a night sometimes more. Monday was an example as a lot of homework because it took me 2 and a half hours to write my essay.

Sometimes I get the really fun photoshop homework which I take my time one so that it looks just right. Thats the kind of homework I love.
