There's  enough else going on in Greek Week that I don't mind Steph having a smaller part. To give Steph a bigger part, one of the other plots would have to get left out. Add in that I would like to have Nick & Irene in the episode, and there really isn't space to give Steph a bigger part.
Part of that for me was that all these different characters added onto an already large group made it feel too busy.  One does not need to be involved in a big role to make their mark in an episode, but with that kind of structure even that is difficult to do.

Basically the only way to give Steph more involvement in the episode is to go in a completely different direction with it and cut out Elena and Silvio.

But anyways, I guess we've drifted a bit off from the original subject. sm5

Yeah, we have. Crimes and Michelle's Misdemeanor is definitely better because of DJ and Steph's parts, which are my favourite parts of the episode. Although I like the whole episode. I don't really mind Michelle in this episode. The parenting thing doesn't bother me either, and to get rid of it gets rid of Steph and DJ's best lines, which are in response to Danny's parenting.

Another highlight of the episode for me is when the guys sing the Elvis Teddy Bear song to Michelle.

Also, I quite like the Jesse/Becky plot in this episode.

No doubt sometimes things that came bother one can lead to some positives.  I know you're not a fan of Educating Jesse, and although that's not solely the reason you dislike it, it does seem like the continuity problems would be a big thing that would annoy you regardless of if the end result could lead some good things as well.  It's a similar fashion for me with the parenting in Crimes and Michelle's Misdemeanor.

The Jesse/Becky was decent enough involving the wedding ring being purchased in sacrifice of his Elvis guitar, but it doesn't stand out to me as one of their best either.
