"I like escalators because an escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You'll never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience. We apologize that you can still get up there."

"I was in a casino, I was standing by the door, and a security guard came over and said 'You're gonna have to move. You're blocking the fire exit.' As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table."

i think that i perfer the humor in the later seasons than the earlier. One of my favorite episodes is air jesse and i love the humor that jesse's character portrays in this show. I think they depended on the catch phrases too much in the earlier seasons just to get a laugh.

I never was a huge fan of catchphrases, although season 1 they were hardly ever seen.  I'd certainly take the single line things like that over the gag-based episodes later on though.  I think I'd almost like the later seasons as a separate entity, just because I wouldn't compare to the more warmth that there was for me in the 3 seasons.
