Did Jesse Get Married Too Early

Well Jesse was a bad ass for maybe the first season but shortly after he met Becky then lost his edge...He always had a bad side but he cleaned up and got married in the show pretty fast don't you think?

Well, when I think about this question, I think about how Jesse was for the 5-10 years before FH started. Needless to say, nothing in the show suggests he was any different. He was really like that for a long time, through his adolescent years up until he turned about 24. Even in the first season, you can read into a few clues that he's about done with being a rebel/hipster type. The very idea he would walk into a house with three young kids with no strings attached is one of the most prominent signs. Another is that Jesse's rebellion at this point is almost fully external; you could hardly say that him being a "bad ass" affected whether he came home drunk at 3am for several days straight, etc.

From a life perspective, that is around the point when some people just start to change their priorities into something else.  From a show perspective, I guess it depends on whether you liked the Dr. Dare Jesse better.  If you're meaning that he got married quickly after meeting Becky, I can see where that might be something to consider.  Sometimes people can be dating for a long time before they get married, and for others it's the other way around.  I suppose they figured it would get tiring if they couldn't latch on to them as an official couple by the time the fourth season came around.

Well I think 24 is a little too young to get married but I'd be okay if Jesse got married in Season 6 or 7 because he would've been older and then could get married.

I don't think there's really a proper age to get married. A lot of people say they want to enjoy being single/dating different people regularly for a while before strapping down to commitment, but if people really think they have found that special someone, I'm not against letting them marry, definitely not by 24.

No, I don't think Jesse got married too quickly. He was dating Becky for a year and a half before they got engaged, and they'd been together over two years before they got married.

I think it would be too early in season 2, because him and Becky weren't even together for a whole season.  Season 4 was perfect, but I did think that they had Nicky and Alex too soon, because the got married in the same season as Becky got pregnant.

I certainly don't think 24 is too young to get married, although if they had only been seeing each other for less than a season like in season 2 I guess it would be rushing things quickly.  That really depends on the individual couple however.

I don't think that was much of a problem, unless you mean from a storyline perspective.  It would have been interesting to see them as a married couple slightly longer I agree, although them having children not too long after being married isn't too much of a concern.  If they were born a couple months after the marriage it might make you wonder though.

i really dont think they get married to young. i think they seem very mature for their age on the show. I think they did this because the girls were growing up they wanted some younger storylines still. I think it was a good idea.

Oh yeah, I definitely don't think they intended on wanting them to date too much longer unless they were going to put things on the next level.  In real life it's another case, but I do think they wanted that storyarch that would come out of it.

Weird4, I need to point out that Jesse was 24 in season 1. By the time Jesse got married, he was either 27 or 28 (depending on his birthday). Just clarifying.

well actually, Becky was only pregnant for six months (because they made the summer be like 6 months instead of 3 in fake Full House time lol) so I think if you do the math she might have been preggers before the wedding......lol

but somehow I doubt the show was trying to insinuate that

Well, she only found out about the pregnancy at the end of the season, so if you went by that, she would have already been three months pregnant.  Usually you'd find out a little before then.

I think usually you find out a little before then lol b/c you start to show at three months....but then I dunno exactly where three months before the end of season four puts her, it's possible that it actually is after the wedding....if someone feels like doing the math be my guest lol

Yeah, that's why before the wedding doesn't make too much sense.  I guess they just figured the specific amount of time didn't matter.  I'm pretty sure other shows have done similar things sometimes.
