How Bland is Full House?

How bland is Full House?

I'm asking this because one of the comments on the Full House imdb page is that the show is very bland.

I'm voting Somewhat Bland. I'd say Full House is very bland at the beginning of the series, and less bland as the show progresses. However, I don't think the show ever reaches the Not Bland category.

I'm going with somewhat bland.  No doubt there were moments when the show just wasn't notably interesting.  However, that's not to say I don't like a little bit of that.  In some ways that also describes gentle and inoffensive nature which I can often connect to, in contrast to other things I like which might be able to have a harder edge to them.

I'm going with somewhat because when ever I watch the show over and over agian I think that some parts get really boring after a while but the fist few times I seen the show it wasn't to bland.

I said not bland.  The first time I saw each episode I loved every minute of it,  I didn't even allow myself snack or bathroom breaks during an episode for fear of missing even a few seconds.  And I still like when I get the DVD's and see scenes that aren't seen in syndication and I haven't seen before.  There were a few episodes that were kind of bland, especially in the beginning, and it does become more boring as you watch it too much, but overall i don't think it was balnd at all.

I voted somewhat bland, for the same reason as leftturn. It was bland at the beginning, but after a while it became less bland.

I suppose that works with pretty much anything in that if you watch it too much the effect is lessened.  There's just a fatigue in seeing something for so long, regardless of the actual content.  I was like that as well during the obsession where I couldn't miss anything, lol.  One time I got home just before it started and I rushed up to the TV. sm5

it's somewhat bland, but I enjoy that sometimes.  it's kind of like when you've got nothing to do so you reread a book or rewatch a movie, you know?

In my opinion the show is somewhat bland. However we all are pretty much way out of the intended viewing age so that's to be expected.

Yep, that's true.  Sometimes I'll listen to a song I just don't mind more than the ones I love just because it's more difficult to tire over it.  Of course FH really is one of my favorite shows so I guess that doesn't completely apply in this case here.  Sometimes though I might be tempted to skip an episode I really like just so I wait longer to see it and appreciate it more, as opposed to the ones which I don't care quite as much about which I'd just sit down and watch.

It's somewhat Bland. I never found it bland at all when I first started watching the show however.

I can't really explain the quality I experience in terms of blandness. I can't say it's very bland, but a lot of it makes the "cheesy alert" in my brain. :P

Yeah, same here. It's somewhat bland, but more cheesy than bland, in my opinion. I didn't really think about that when I first watched it, though. It didn't matter to me back then, I was obsessed. Haha. sm4

Yeah, cheesiness is a different than bland I would think.  As a food analogy, bland is essentially tasteless whereas as FH was more very rich/sweet (and for many people too much).

It (cheesy) is part of the charm, if that's what adds to your enjoyment of the show I guess.
