That's insane, lol.  I stayed up until 2:30 for once but it would have been morning by the time you logged off if you're not exaggerating.

Wow, haha. I wouldn't even have been allowed to stay on the computer past, maybe, midnight. But that sounds like it was fun. sm3

The countdown was nothing special in the chat lol.  By the time it reached my new years we were already in a conversation on MSN lol.  Of course I counted down though :P

That's interesting, lol.  We always see the Dick Clark new year ball drop in New York every year on TV, but going to a real thing has to be a little bit different.

it was cool, there were a TON of people there and stuff, and there was this guy in front of us w/ a bottle of champagne that he uncorked right at midnight and sprayed everywhere sm5 lol but another thing about our ball is that it rises rather than drops :P weird but it was neat and then there were fireworks

no big bands or anything like in NYC tho, I'd like to go to Times Square one year but you have to get there at like 4 if you want to go at all which is a pain in the ass so if I ever go it'll be the only time sm3

usually I watch Dick Clark and/or Jay Leno though.....

I have always had some friends over on new years and it was no different which didn't allot me much time to chat.

Same here, although I went over to a friend's house, so I didn't have any time to chat. I always go over to her house for New Years Eve, though. So I'm used to not being able to do much else. sm4
