No, I think course choices are ultimately up to what you want to do, soyour decisions are your own.  I'll be taking a parental based course in the near future though, and I'm basically done a public speaking class now. Smiley

I just kinda wanna know whats fun and whats not. Math & English are reuired, and if I do Alegebra I at least have a shot at getting the better math teacher. If not, BLAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! I got a detention today because I was 15 mins late! My locker was stuck, and I tried to go to the office but the door was locked, which means they were dealing with something very important, so I had to run down 3 flights of stairs to my locker and I finally got it unstuck, I had to go up another flight to get to my class, soooooooooo yeahhh. Luckily my mom didnt find out b/c the teacher never bothers to call your parents if you get in trouble. She just says lectures you for being late then says "20 min detention!!!!" but it varies on the time. I hope I dont get her, this was my last day of the reg. schedule, and tomorrow midterms start!! They should email my schedule around 5, (that wasnt the order I posted, they had to rearrange the order b/c of class sizes) So I'll get that up when I get it.

I think it is totally up to you on what classes you pick because after all you are the one that has to do the work. I think that your graphics class would be so much fun. I sucks that you got a dentension, they do the same thing at my school when someone is late but lucky for me I am never late.

Yeah, I feel so intimidated by the late rules, although that really shouldn't be the idea.  We have a three strikes rule (it expires every month for grades 9 and 10, but for 11 and above it's the whole year Tongue ).  Thankfully that has only happened to me 2 or 3 times in my entire high school career.  Today was my last day of the semester, with exceptions of course being final exams.

What are the chapel sessions, if you don't mind me asking?  It seems like a little church activity from the name of it.  In bible class, have you ever had someone make a controversial challenge, just given the subject matter?  I just find things like that interesting.

The chapel sessions are just a praising God kind of time. We sing songs, read scripture, have a sermon sort of that teaches a lesson, and then sing some more. It is like going to church only not as structured and really there aren't many prayers its more praising God through song and scripture. And in bible class, there really has never been a controversial challenge at least in my class. I know of one girl who likes to always prove she knows more than the teacher on Christianity and that causes some disagreement at times but I have never been in her class to tell you more than that.

Lol, I guess it's just a good thing I never was forced into a religious school (my mom's parents might have been all over that idea Tongue ).  I don't think I would be able to handle it.  But as long as that kind of thing is right for you I'm sure it's fine.

I was forced into a religious school, but I grew up that way, so it doesn't really matter. Tongue But I could see how that would be hard for a person who never really grew up like that.

Yeah, a couple of my classes have been touching on that recently.  With public speaking we even had some relatively heated discussions about it.  I don't think anyone there was  so confidently religious for it to be a concern though.
