Hmm yeah, I don't think I've ever heard that one before.  I can really imagine the gag going on, but not really familiar to me.

I've sometimes had this with songs as well.  Sometimes I look up the lyrics but others I don't know or I mishear what is being said so it's very difficult.

One movie I can't remember (I never actually saw it, I just remember from the commercials on TV) came out either in theatres or on DVD around October 2001, and all I remember is it had a line like this:

"Your dog has a twisted look on his face."
"That's because you're looking at its butt."

My family had just gotten a dog around this time, and it became a line that we used a lot, but I can't remember what movie it was from...

Well, over a year has gone by, but a few months ago I found the movie... It was Wrongfully Accused, starring Leslie Nielsen.  The movie was from 1998 though, not 2001, so perhaps the commercials we had been seeing were for it being on TV or something...

Oh wow I should have known that, lol.  We have the movie and everything too.  Of course, the year thing might have thrown me off a bit.  And that was one I really could have helped someone out with too.   At least you eventually found out.  How did you come across the answer?

And welcome back, by the way, lol.

From buying the movie... ;D  I wasn't even "on the search" for what movie the quote came from, I just bought it because I like Leslie Neilsen, and then there it was... ;D

Yeah sometimes that happens.  Occasionally I'll recall a quote I like and I know I have it but no clue as to what it is.  And I'd rather not watch everything to find one little bit.  Just bugs me usually.  That's of course if my google search fails me.

At least I knew I'd heard that quote you posted before.  It would have been worse if I said I hadn't and realized it was from a movie I've seen a number of times.
