Worst Recurring Character?

Basically who do you find to be the worst recurring character on the show?

Just to clarify it'll basically be any character who was not a regular but was seen in more than one episode (same role as well, in the event that any performer has played more than one character before).  I might lean towards Denise, just because I wasn't a fan of Michelle's friends in general and she didn't really offer too much.

Denise is pretty bad. She's my least favourite of Michelle's friends. She has a good number of awful moments. The other recurring character I like the least is Mrs. Carruthers. Her character makes me cringe, especially in Too Little Richard Too Late and Dateless in San Fransisco.

Yeah, I had a feeling you were going to say her, lol.  My mom actually likes that character, especially in knowing that she's the person who does the voice of Mrs. Krabappel on the Simpsons.  I dont' mind her, but she's not nearly a favorite either.

I would have to say probably Duane, his character did provide a bit of comic relief but otherwise he was static and pointless.

I agree that Duane's character is pretty flat and I think the latter part of season 8 would be better without him. I don't find him as annoying as Denise or Mrs. Carruthers though.

I used to not like him, but for some reason his basic gag really can be quite funny even when you know it's coming.  I once heard a comedy that if you do something repeatedly it's funny, then there reaches a point where it gets old, but if it's keeps going for some reason it gets funny again.  That may not work for everybody, but I can see how that logic works.

I think I'll go with Mrs. Caruthers.  I don't think she added much to the show and all the scenes with her in them just kind of bothered me.

Lol, she was pretty much there for the comic relief by hitting on Joey.  Her role in the Bicycle Thief just was weird because she's there for the zaniest of reasons.

That boy Michelle was friendly with.  He spoke like a miniature adult and he was not a convincing actor.

I'm guessing you mean Derek?  Always reminded of Macauly Culkin in a way, lol.  He was at least nice so I don't dislike him the way I might have with some of Michelle's other friends.
