Cool, thanks for posting that, FW!  I didn't know Candace Cameron was on that show before, although I hadn't actually seen it too much before.  It looks like it was just a one episode thing.  You can tell it might have been maybe a couple years before FH started, which makes sense.

I think I'll move this to Cast and Characters just because it's about Candace, even though I know its' still a video.

I've never seen that show, but I know it was big in the 80's, that's pretty cool that she guest starred, she looks so much younger though.
I'm back

I would guess 1983-1984, which would have made her about 7 or 8 when that was made.  I wasn't actually aware of that show until a year or so ago.  It's not really on anywhere I don't think.  Even with FH I had at least heard the name long before that.

Lol I saw this yesterday while looking for Full House fanvids. I actually wish it didn't have the Full House clips interspersed between the Punky Brewster ones.

I already knew that Candace Cameron had Guest Starred on Punky Brewster. The entry for it on Candace Cameron's IMDB page lists it as 1985.

Yeah, it's somewhat jarring, especially when the PB ones focus on a single episode whereas the FH ones are basically random scenes.  I know Candace had made guest appearances on Growing Pains around the time FH began as well.

I'm surprised at how unaware I was of it.  Actually it was Soleil Moon Frye documentary advertisement when I was watching the FH THS that had me find it for the first time.

I used to be a big Punky Brewster fan when I was pretty young. I still am to a point having the first three seasons on DVD and still deciding if I liked the fourth season enough to get that too. The first two had her classic pigtails, spunky Punky thing going on and the latter two still spunky Punky but she got a little more girly since the retooled the show in the last two seasons which some fans didn't really like.

Anyway, that scene you're looking at came from the episode "Milk Does A Body Good" as some of you have likely discovered already. I'm sure you can all find it if you want to see it. Candace plays Julie/Jennifer. A kidd who was "kidnapped" by her father due to a divorce. It was common that the first two seasons of Punky Brewster often dealt with some very serious topics given the shows audience was very young. They really pulled it off if you ask me.

Reminds me of how Family Ties melded in all this serious emotional stuff every third episode or so to mix with their more comedic ones.  Thanks for the backdrop on Pinky Brewster! :D

I don't think the milk in the Punky Brewster clip is orgasmic enough.

I don't know what they could have done to change.  Was there even any actual milk in the episode?

Not unless you count the milk that was used to bake the cake. There's a particularly funny scene where Punky and her friends show Mrs. Johnson the milk carton only for Mrs. Johnson to read the wrong side of it.
