Personally I've always the most enjoyable listening experience to be with headphones for some reason, just as an aside.

Now would these vinyls be available in stores or just be a collector's item for people who would really like it and are seeking it?

I'm really not sure. I would imagine the vinyl copy of the album would be available to everyone.

I like listening to music through headphones too. I like picking out things in a mix I didn't hear before. Some albums don't offer much of this but then there are albums that are real headphone albums like some of Pink Floyd's records.

From experience I've found a few, but I doubt the members would be interested at all.  Songs have that real subtleties that you won't pick out through casual listening or even attentive listening with any kind of distraction.

I'm just trying to picture how they would sell the vinyls though, other than an online place.

Online is likely but I wouldn't rule out brick and mortar places...not that I've seen vinyl at the record stores lately.

I would be really interested to see how the Foxoboro Hottubs would do a tour. That is, since Green Day did these crazy disguises for the Network, what will they do for this one? Maybe they'll dress in period correct clothing? Maybe, as per the album cover, they'll dress in drag.

Oh, well are you able to distinguish it being them on that album cover then?

lol Well no. Just the vocal style. It's definitely Billie Joe. Either way it should be interesting to see what they would do for a tour if they'd do one.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of that other formation "The Network" and you mentioned how their tours went.  I take it then that this band hasn't toured as of yet.

I know it's been a year so I apologize for dredging this up again as I do the Network thread but check it out:

There is also a clip somewhere in the middle of a recent Green Day show where Billie Joe is singing "Mother Mary" a cappella.

The short tour I mentioned earlier was an eight date mini-tour on the west coast. It was a pretty big success and generated more than a few inside jokes between Green Day fans.

It still interests me to see a band using an alternate name like that despite their broad popularity.  I take it Green Day is your favourite band, lol.?
