I've had Norton come up for a lotof insignificant things in the desktop, but I guess it's good that you're wary of it (if I remember correctly, if your computer crashes that's it for you until you're 18 :-X ).  But yeah I have a feeling the notices will stop once you leave.

lol if my computer dies after July 16th (that's when my warranty expires), then I'll be gone for a very long time, or until I get the money to buy a new laptop.  I would never buy the same one, so it'd take me longer because I'd need more money for a nicer one.

I might buy the extended warranty though.  It'd be worth it.

Hmm, yeah well that's tough.  At least you can hopefully find out whether you avoided a crisis here or not. ;)  If it's fairly new its lifespan should at least last for a while if you keep an eye on it.  How long would the extended warranty last?
