Jurnee Smollett nominated for Teen Choice

I was voting for the Teen Choice Awards and I noticed that Jurnee Smollett, who played Michelle's friend Denise is nominated in the Movie: Breakout Female category. She's nominated for "The Great Debaters" which I don't think I've even heard of. Anyway vote if you'd like, I just thought I would share that with you. You have to be a teenager to vote but you can always lie about your age.

I'm like the rest of you in that I hadn't heard about this movie, or that Jurnee Smolette was in it. It looks like a decent movie, though.

I've heard of The Great Debaters (LOL at I'm the only person who's heard of it so far) but I've never seen it.  Good for her though

Oh, it's a movie?  I didn't even know what the teen choice awards represented, lol.  That's interesting though considering the 13 years now since FH left the air.  Cool post!

Jurnee is such a talent!  I saw her in "Selma, Lord Selma" and in another movie set in the south.  She is such a talent!

I'm assuming those are more recent movies as well.  For the people who are wondering and haven't followed her at all since she was on FH, this is what she looks like now...
