Smurfette

Smurfette being the only female in the whole village of smurfs must logically have been then the mother of all the baby smurfs. So the question is... who is the daddy and how could she have that many kids? The obvious answer to the first question is Papa Smurf. But as to how and why the smurf populations' gender ratio skewed that much is beyond me as well how the hell someone would live through having that many kids... how is it that we never saw a bloated and pregnant Smurfette? Unless the smurfs are total weirdos and like lay eggs or only carry the baby inside them for like 3-8 minutes. All interesting questions.

First off, I think smurfs are reptiles.  The egg theory definitely works here.

And Smurfette is like the queen bee, I guess. Yeah.

They probably kill all the girls.  Or sell them as slaves or prostitutes..

That was so brought up from the test Lefto posted.

However, I've never really thought about the Smurfs or anything, even though Smurfette was the only girl of the bunch. I figured they just popped up randomly, like magic.. haha. Okay, not really, but yeah. I'm sort of with Lizzy though, about the reptile theory. It's the only thing that makes some sense.

Answer is that the writers didn't think about that, just like in most shows.  I wish I could be Smurfette.
