Steph's Gay

[Left Turn]

This fanfic may not be to everyone's liking. Also, it's only got the first two scenes so far.

This takes place in season 8.

DJ is sitting at her desk in her room. Stephanie enters.
Stephanie: Deej, can we talk.
DJ: Sure what is it?
Stephanie: It?s about Gia.
DJ: What about Gia?
Stephanie: I think I?m attracted to her.
DJ: You mean..
Stephanie: Yeah.
DJ: You mean you?re a lesbian?
Stephanie: I think so. Deej, what should I do?
DJ: I don?t know.
Stephanie: What about dad?
DJ: You?re right, dad?s going to freak when he finds out.
Kimmy enters DJ?s room:
Kimmy: Finds out about what?
DJ: That Steph?s gay.
Kimmy: I figured so. That explains a lot.
Stephanie: Kimmy, it would explain a lot if you were gay.
Kimmy: I don?t get it.
Stephanie (while walking out of DJ?s room): That?s what you get for having a hole in your head.
Kimmy: I still don?t get it.

Stephanie is sitting at the table in her room writing a love letter to Gia. Michelle enters:
Stephanie: Hey Michelle.
Michelle: Hey.Watcha doin??
Stephanie: I?m writing a letter to Gia.
Michelle: What does it say?
Stephanie: Oh, nothing important.
Michelle: You see Gia everyday. Why don?t you just tell her instead of writing a letter?
Stephanie: It?s not something I can just say to her face. Not immediately, anyways.
Michelle sits down beside Stephanie, tries to sneak a peek at the letter
Stephanie: Hey, quit trying to read my letter, you little sneak.
Michelle: Oh, puhlease. You always read DJ?s diary.
Stephanie: Well that?s different.
Michelle: How is that different?
Stephanie: It just is. Will you leave me alone?
Michelle: Ok.
Michelle leaves the room.

Certainly an interesting plot. One part of me wants to say LOL, and the other wants to comment on how FH would never do something like this, but either way, I'm interested to see where this goes.

I can only imagine how people would have reacted if this had aired as a real episode, although I suppose it wouldn't make too much sense that she was a lesbian considering some other episodes of the time.  There is actually probably a lot of room for comedy in this, and it's unique.  I'll definitely be reading the next one.  I guess that is what a fanfic is for.  You definitely are reading something that would not have come into fruition on the real show.

Well I am going to take the bias that the topic brings out and base it the quality of it's writing. First of all it seems like there was no emotion of all from DJ when Steph said it and also I would think it would be a bit more difficult for steph to tell DJ something like that, aka she has an internal struggle of whether or not to say it.

Wow! when i read this I thought "I don't know what to say" I agree with everyone else that you'd probably never see this on tv from Full House. But it does seem to have a plot that interests me. If this happened on the show though I'd probably hate it forever, but thats just me!

Yeah, I wouldn't like it as an actual episode of the show either. FH already had a flair for the cheesy and melodramatic, and I have a feeling FH would handle this in a very heavyhanded way.
