Twilight
« on: September 16, 2008, 04:08:41 AM »
I just started reading these books, I'm almost finished with the 1st and I bought the 2nd recently. I just wanted to see what all the hype was all about but they're actually pretty good and I can't wait for the movie now! sm3

TWILIGHT! OMGTWILIGHTYAAY!

Ahem... sorry 'bout that. I'm still in the process of finishing the second book, but I already know what's going happen all the way up until the end of Breaking Dawn. I love reading me some spoilers, haha. However, I started reading the books after I saw the movie trailer and I had just made my mind up that I absolutely had to read all the books before the movie came out. Actually, I really need to pull the book out and finish reading it. I never knew what anybody was talking about though when they were referring to Twilight. Pretty funny, actually.

I tried to read the book this summer but I didn't like it much. My friends are all obessed with it, they even took it as far as calling each other by the names of the characters and it is so strange and annoying, cause they want me to the same but I can't bring my self to call one of my friends by the name of a character in a book.

Yeah everyone is reading them at school but I think I might start reading them once I'm finished with the book I'm reading right now.  Most things that are really popular I end up hating so I dunno :P

I haven't read any of them (I'm not sure if I know unless someone told me about it before).  I really don't read much at all, lol, but I think I would tend to more when I'm older.  Either way can anyone give a brief idea of what it's about?

All I know so far (at least this is what I heard) that it is about this Vampire who falls in love with a regular girl, and she has to deal with all the things that come along with dating a vampire.

Yeah, it comes out December 12th. When I'm able to, I am sooo buying tickets ahead of time, haha. I got my friend addicted to them and she could read a whole book at least within two days. Pretty funny though, actually. Avrilfan got the description perfect though, because if much of anything else is said then it gives the series away and everything. sm11

Ya I'm sure the movie is going to be very popular. I won't be going to see it though. And ya thats pretty much what I hear about the book, every single day from my friends.

I remember coming across because the next Will Smith movie was supposed to coming out the same weekend.  I think it was changed though.  I'm not sure if I'd see it but my guess is it will do well.

ok I have something to say now.

TWILIGHT ZOMG I HAVE TWILIGHT OCD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read the first book in about a week, I was sobbing at the end because I didn't want it to be over.  Greatest book I ever read.  I'm practically done with New Moon, I cried in the beginning of this one (can't say why because it'd ruin it for y'all who haven't read it yet) but I read like 300 pages in one day just so I could see when ___________________________________ (I don't wanna spoil it...) But I thought New Moon was REALLY boring... but now FINALLY at the end it's getting good.  I'm gonna finish it tonight.  That means I finished it in 3 days :P  I also bought Eclipse today, I can't wait to start reading it.

I also got my Twilight poster today which is hanging right in front of my bed :P  I wuvvies it.

And doesn't the movie come out November 21st?  There's a countdown widget on hottopic.com.  And as far as the movie goes, I can't WAIT to see it.  I'm gonna be one of those freaks who dresses up as a vampire and goes there at midnight xD

and LOOK LOOK LOOK how hot Edward is xP

And speaking of vampire novels, I've seen my aunt have these romance vampire novels that are borderline erotica.  That's all she reads for days, lol.  I'm assuming this isn't the same thing.

No, it's far from those. There is a girl I work with and she reads the erotic vampire novels and everything. Twilight is far different and when I posted previously, the movie was set to come out in December, but it's since then been changed to November 21st. I honestly can't wait, because I've pre-ordered tickets for my friend and I to see it on the 20th -- for the midnight showing. So, I'm psyched and everything.

Glad to see you're enjoying the series, fhfreakerz. I've got a 'Team Edward' pin that I wear absolutely everywhere! No poster yet, seeing as I have absolutely no idea where to put it, but I do plan on buying a shirt and a hoodie from Hot Topic soon enough. I just hope they don't all get bought out by next week, considering it's become increasingly popular in Asheville now.

And yeah, Robert Pattinson is definitely hot. He made a great Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire and I can't wait to see him take on Edward Cullen. Besides, it seems like he's done a fantastic job covering his British accent. Speaking of which, Paramore's video for Decode is good. It shows more clips of the movie and everything. If you haven't already, you should check that out.

Yeah I'm reading Eclipse right now.  I finished New Moon in 4 days lol.  and OMG you're so lucky you get to go to the midnight showing.  I'm gonna beg and beg to see if I can go.  But I do need to pre-order my tickets; I'll talk to my friends about it today.

And yeah I've seen the Decode video, I think the song fits the movie perfectly.  OMFG I can't wait to see it :D

TWILIGHT!!!!

Ah I held out on reading them for so long because everyone was like FORCING me to read them.  But I started the first one mid-October and finished Breaking Dawn like a week ago.  They're like impossible to put down, you just have to keep reading!  And now I sooooo can't wait for the movie now!  I'm so jealous, someone from my French class and one of my sister's friends are both going to the NY premiere.  AHHHH I want to go to the premiere.  And also now I really want red contacts so I could walk around pretending like I'm a vampire!

Ahhhh obsession!   These are just so ADDICTING!  Honestly I have a Twilight addiction!  I can't even go one day without checking if there's new stills or clips!
