Trivia Game
« on: October 01, 2008, 03:12:46 AM »
Just a general trivia.  People are free to look up the answers but if they know it they can answer it right then and there.  If noone can get it the person who posted the question can give out the answer.

I'll start with an easy one...

The largest country in the world, land mass wise?

"Yes, I edited a quote, but now it's glaringly obvious."

I don't see any current members of the Senate having been elected U.S. President.  Am I misunderstanding the question?

I phrased that poorly, does "Only US President to be elected president while at the time serving in the Senate" make more sense?

Actually it was Abbey Road.  Let It Be was released last but was recorded before Abbey Road.

If Mexico counts, that would be the answer.  Otherwise it's a tie between Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

Last Latin American nation to gain sovereignty?

I think it's Haiti, but I'm not completely sure. Haiti gained independence in 1804, I think.

Oh, I guess they count.  I was thinking continental Latin America.  Haiti I was thinking more of as the Caribbean which like Latin America is a subcontinent.

Like I said previously, Last Latin American nation to gain sovereignty?
