The Fugees
« on: November 26, 2008, 04:21:23 AM »
Anyone like their music? Its old school and authentic hip hop. They sing Killing me softly, ready or not, and no women no cry (those are just popular singles, they have a few albums out). They broke off and started doing solo's, but reunited later and released a single. In 2007, they officially split, because 2 of the members didnt want to work with Lauryn anymore (they said she was bipolar and that they wont record with her again until they find osama bin laden in a starbucks or something :P lol). Heres killing me softly:

I'm not much into hip hop, well it's pretty much something I don't listen to at all.  Not my kind of thing.  The name looks famiiliar but maybe I've just seen in the 'what are you listening to' thread.  But um...three cheers for old school? ;)

Lol, I checked it out to see if it was a cover of the Eagles song "Take It Easy" but I guess not. ;)

No the lyrics and melody are completely different as well so yeah definitely not a cover.  I do find Take It Easy by the Eagles to be a decent enough song though, as an aside.
