Does food help you concentrate?
« on: December 05, 2008, 01:09:38 AM »
This could be an about you but I figure I'm asking in general as much as personal.  I find I can read and concentrate better after having eaten something, lol.  I'm sure it's a common knowledge, but if you want you can share how you feel about this and comment on whether it affects you and to what degree.

Well if I'm starving I definitely can't concentrate.  However then if I eat too much I really can't concentrate, as all I can think about is how I ate too much. :)  Generally I don't eat while I'm working on something though, because then I'm just distracted.

Hmm yeah those are fair points too.  Obviously you don't want to eat too much, but I mean as in comfortably full as opposed to not having eatenin a while (not necessarily aching hunger though).  I'll sometimes when working on something, but it's not necessary either.  Often I'll have a snack and then proceed with whatever I was doing after that.
