anyways.. some schools in my area had from tuesday to friday off becuz we had a wicked bad snow storm.. were got more snow today, and were getting some tomorrow.. but the schools have to make up the lost days, which means theyre going back tomorrow.
Hmm, I would hate that. I don't think my schools ever made up for lost days, though the most I ever remember there being for snow days was 7 or 8 in the whole year. It's not ideal, but you can manage. A few years ago there was a new rule in place that if buses were cancelled school was. Before that, if you weren't on a bus you had to go which was pointless. One year that happened on my birthday and I actually ahd to go for the morning.
I got out Friday, we definetly shouldn't have had school then. It took an 1 1/2 hours to get home. However we had the Bishop coming to give an Advent Mass so they didn't want to cancel on him.
Oh yeah, you're at the private Christian school right? I wonder what they do at the Catholic High School in my area, for although it has the religious name there are more people who are not Catholic attending there.
