Most Annoying DJ Moment
« on: January 04, 2009, 04:08:04 AM »
Probably her ranting in Dateless in San Francisco or when she got angry at Stephanie in the Prying Game.  I'm sure there's a few other moments where she got annoyed or upset and overreacted to something, but those ones stand out for me.  How about you?

You actually think DJ had annoying moments? What a stupid thread.  ;)

Ok, now that my dare is done, on to DJ's most annoying moment.

I know you're goning to disagree with me, but I really find it annoying when DJ is obsessed with getting skinny in Shape Up. Especially when she feeds her sandwich to Comet.

DJ getting mad a Stephanie in The Prying Game is pretty annoying, but I still like the episode.

The other DJ moment I find annoying is in Lovers and Other Tanners when DJ forgets to pick up Michelle from the Honeybees meeting.

As far as Shape Up goes, I don't like the episode based on DJ's personality so I can see how her behaviour annoyed you in that one.  I was just so uplifted with the Stephanie helping DJ thing though.

I agree about the Lovers and Other Tanners thing too.  That was just irresponsible of her.

Do you have an opinion on the Dateless in San Francisco one?

I didn't like the Shape Up episode either and found it implausible.

I also found Candace whined too much for my taste on that show.

I hated it when she called herself an "omelet head" when she was trying to sneak out of middle school.  That was such a stupid line!  Groan City!

I didn't like that dumb remark about the boy she liked choosing a girl who could "hold her corndogs."  I just thought that was dumb.

I just hated that stinker of a shopping cart song from the 1990 episode about the telethon.  That song was just.....ouch!  Bad!

I didn't like the dance Candace did with Jodie on the "bunny nose" episode.

The girls were dancing to Tiffany, I think and Jodie was in her element dancing.  Candace just looked stiff and silly, like a pillow bouncing off a couch.

I took the liberty of combining all your posts in there into one because five consecutive posts is frankly a little too many.  Please try to put them into one if you can in the future.  You can obviously make exceptions where it's really necesseary of course. :D

As far as her dancing and singing, I don't she was too comfortable doing it.  I know at least with the singing that she only did it because the script pretty much required her to.  She was very self-conscious about it.  I'm okay with how she did for the most part.  Most of the other characters were in some pretty dire situations with performing one thing or another at some point too.
