An Official "Goodbye" Chat?

I haven't been here in a while. Why?  Because there's no activity.  We obviously tried to fix it, but it didn't work.  I was checking recent posts, there weren't any posts yesterday, and there were only 6 the day before.
 
I think a nice "goodbye" chat would be a good idea.  Most of us have been here a really long time, and the forum really did change my life.  I wouldn't just want it to slowly fade away until it's dead, but I'd like to say bye to everyone. 

Anyone else up for it?  I think Fishy is in Singapore, so we could obviously wait until she gets back.

Hey, I think that's a great idea!
Though maybe we could call it something like a "reunion" chat?  That way it doesn't have to be so much about goodbyes as talking to people who we don't talk to as much anymore.. if that makes sense.
And the forum will still be here, it just might not be active... lol

(By the way, I'm back from Singapore now... but super busy with school and stuff. Grr.)

Yeah, maybe a reunion chat would be better.  But it still might be hard recruiting members, because most of them are gone.  We could send out an email?

I was thinking everyone would be more available in the summer -- do you think a June/July date would be good?

I like the "reunion" tag FW gave it haha.  Rather than just going with top 30 I imagine handpicking members would be better off, considering when they joined, when they were last a part of the community and such.  E-mail probably would be the only option...not really other form of contact.

Yeah I like "reunion" much better than "goodbye."  When I first saw this topic I was like, "What?  The forums getting deleted?" and I freaked out a bit.  But I'm better now.  Yeah, I think June/July would be good.

Yeah, count me in for the "reunion" chat as opposed to the "goodbye" chat as well. I know I've been very innactive lately, but thats only because I've been busy with school and active on other forums. I would never want this forum to get deleted, no matter how innactive the activity gets. And June/July would be a perfect date for the "reunion" chat.

Yeah, I'm so busy with school and track and everything I don't even have time to do anything but  school, track, homework, and sleep.  I don't have much homework today but I still have to study.

So I guess late June/ early July it'll be then, since that seems to work for everyone.  I guess we'll come up with an actual date/time when it gets a bit closer.

haha I'm still here. except I'm leaving tomorrow for Europe and I won't be back till June 28th.

But I will email everyone to come back sometime in July and we can definitely set up a date for the chat!

HI FISHY! All of that sounds great, I hope you have fun in Europe..again! Haha it's almost like an HR tradition that you leave about every summer or so and something crazy happens. I was looking through the Recycle Bin for a bit a while ago, and I guess there have been several times HR has gone inactive..And to think you almost deleted the forum that one time!

Hey Guys,

So I know it's been at least a year since I've been on here... I don't even know how to start, just been a crazy freshman year and I never even thought about the forums quite honestly. But anyways, I was beginning to feel a bit nostalgic about the place so I thought I'd come back and check in on things . Now that I'm on summer vacation, I'll have some time to stop by occasionally. I can't really promise any regularity, but anyways I love the idea of a reunion chat. So yeah anytime until August except around the 4th is good for me.
