Guys...How Rude seems to be dying.   There have been no new posts in two weeks before this one.  I don't want HR to die but I don't know what we can do?  Recruit a bunch of new people?  What happenned?  This is so sad, I always thought HR would be around forever.

It is sad.  It's hard to get motivated when the activity progressively dwindles.  It's nice to know there are members like you who care and made the effort to post though.  I guess a lot of people have just moved on at this point (I'm kind of in a new life stage as I'm sure some others are too).  I think I'll continue to check around though if it's still here.  If you have a messenger it might be cool to keep track of people that way too.

Yeah, its a shame really. Either people have moved on or people just wanna chat via MSN. For me, its a little of both. But I'll still stop by once in a while and check up on stuff.

you also gotta remember a majority of this forum is / entering their 20s. college, work, ect. we used to come on this forum a lot when we were all tweens and had nothing else to do with out time. also, we used to all love full house (which personally i dont anymore), so thats why i don't make an appoint to log on.

I've been thinking about this place.  I'd be much, much, more motivated to post more if there was more activity.  I don't want to post here if only a select few people visit here.  I was also grounded for about a month and a half (for no reason at all!) so there was no way I could come on here. 

I miss this place, I always think back to 2006 and 2007 and how much fun it was.  It makes me sad to know that those times are really gone

I still visit here every now and then, but with the greatly reduced posting frequency of others, I come here less often. More time between checking in here means more chance someone will have posted something. It's depressing to come here if no ones posting anything worth responding to.

I'll still play the games when others post there. Heck, I would play the Full House games if folks posted there, but no one does.

Yeah, exactly how I feel too.  I feel like we could kind of revive HR if we could find a new group of 12-year-olds or something that would post often.  Don't know how we would do that, but at least I hope that HR will always be around so we can check in from time to time and read old posts.  I do sometimes miss the old days though.

If anyone's willing to advertise on sites like TV.com, I'm sure we would be able to get a new member group.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure that anyone has enough time or motivation to do so.

While I realize that a lot of this is my responsibility, I'm pretty busy myself with college and barely have time to even check HR. I know, it makes me sad too :/

But please, if you have any free time, advertise HR.
Just link them to http://howrude.info/forum , tell them a bit about the site... you know. I (and everyone else here, probably) would really appreciate it.

My understanding is that TeenNick (which operated as The N for a number of years) is now airing Full House, which gives it more visibility than it once had. This might be a potential source of new members.

As a completely off topic note, HR! now has a favicon file, as some browsers request one by default (favicon.ico) - feel free to change this if you'd like, but leave something there, as the requests will otherwise return 404 Not Found, and I don't like that clogging up the error logs.

I guess this is a pretty good opportunity promotion-wise... however, currently, I'm in vacation in California and I just paid $13 for 24h of internet (absurd!) so as you might guess, I can't really be on much until I get back home  (New Year).

Ah... yeah, I miss this place. Granted, I've been inactive here for a while, but work made it almost impossible to keep up with stuff when I got a job, not to mention I lost interest in Full House. The last year has been hectic for me anyway; my sister getting pregnant and everything, but they're supposed to move out on the 8th. However, I don't see that helping me here. I do miss this site and even I wish it could be active once more -- I come on every once and a while to see what's new and everything.

Well as long as people stick around and show up every once in a while I'll still be doing the same.  Maybe sometime when I'm not busy with other things I'll just check around other places to see where interest lies.  What is up with the CBox though?
