5 years of HRF!

While we could never quite get the record straight on when the exact date was, we are fairly certain March 15-16 is around the anniversary of HRF. Happy 5 years! Sad to see the board so decrepit, but I guess my not making a post in many months hasn't helped with that, lol. I have truly grown up with this site; when it really hits me that I was 11 and still not out of elementary school when I first signed up here a week or so after the founding date, it's almost surreal. I've been back on a lot and reading posts for some reason...

Wow yeah I grew up here too because I also joined when I was 11.  It's sad that this place is...dying :(  But it's done wonders to my life :)

Happy 5 year anniversary HR! Yeah I grew up with this forum too, even though I didnt join until 5 months after it opened. Its so hard to believe that I was just starting High School when I first signed up for this forum. This forum is easily the longest I have ever stayed at a forum. And even though the forum has been innactive for a while now, at least its still open. And yeah, I love reading the old posts too, so much nostalgia. Either way, happy birthday to you HR!

I completely missed HRF's birthday this year - so sad :P it was during my midterms.

honestly, I wouldn't be the same without HRF.  I miss the old days!

I'm one of the last in on this surprisingly, but congratulations to HR.  In a way it seems like ages ago when the forum was in its heyday but in another sense everything went by so quickly.  One of the most interesting things about this site is people really don't seem to forget even though they lose interest.

I find this to be the case in most aspects of my life. Moments from the past that I think about a lot don't seem as far in the past as other events a similar distance in the past that I hardly ever think about. Case in point, I remember certain threads from back on the Proboards How Rude like they happened yesterday (the threads I think about most often), and yet it feels like ages ago since I used the Proboards How Rude (I almost never think about the Proboards interface, hence it feels like How Rude has always been on this interface).
