OMG this movie rox! IT has so many great dance moves!

It was made in the 80s but was set in the 60s. Basically it's about this girl Baby Housemen (not actual baby she's like 18) and her family is richyrich and goes to this country club resort. She stumbles on this totally hot guy Johnny (YOUNG PATRICK SWAYZE AHHH!) whos head of the entertainment (dance) crew, and anyway, she kinda likes him (oh who wouldn't) then, she finds out his ex-girlfriend Penny is in trouble, and needs $250 for an abortion (in the 60s!) So Baby gets the $$$ but Penny can't get an appointment cause she has a performance w/Johnny that night. So, Johnny tutors Baby in dancing and she's his partner!!! Then, turns out Penny got butchered and Baby gets her dad to fix her, but Daddy says "No more hot Johnny" but of course, Baby does what every good girl does: jumps into bed with Johnny    Then, *note she DOESN'T get pregnant* the rest of the movie is about avoiding parents and of course DANCING! Later, Johnny's accused of stealing on a night that Baby was there so Baby gave Johnny's actual alibi and Baby was a guest so Johnny got fired   He leaves, then later he comes back for the last party and brings Baby up on stage and they DANCE DANCE DANCE DANCE! OMG the movie rox! The story is cheesy and sux though but everything else is amaazing from super hott Patrick Swayze to the DANCING! Woop! You must see this movie (rated PG13 btw sry JF, Obi, Other johnnyboy   and all yous younguns)

I have seen it on ABC Family and VH1 many times. It is a very good movie, and it was even on "I Love The 80's" (the 1987 episode).  :) This movie gets 2 thumbs up  ;)

lmao Sue...well I've seen PG13 movies before, even R rated ones, because ratings are overrated (no pun intended) I saw Fahrenheit 911 last year.

Ratings don't mean anything nowadays in my opinion, of course ratings do apply to some things.. lol.

I loved Dirty Dancing a lot. Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights actually does deal with the first one, but in a different way. Patrick Swayze's character moved to um.. what was it, Cuba? To be a dance instructor or something like that, then that whole epic was happening and then by the time a competition was coming up he taught that girl a good lesson about something another.. lmao. I have the second one, but my parents stashed it in their room somewhere. Anywho, that's off-topic.. haha.

Dirty Dancing was awesome though, but what does everybody see in Patrick Swayze? Personally I never thought he was even cute.. lol. My mom obsesses over him everytime she sees him.
