My first fanfic ever!

This was my first fanfic eva! I'm posting it and my second one to sorta introduce ppl to Suzanne and Leanne.

This is a two-part story. It takes place late in the fourth season, so Jesse and Becky are already married. Oh, yeah- Suzanne and Leanne aren't genuine full house characters.

Kimmy sings the blues

The air was joyous about the Tanner household as the family awaited DJ's arrival from school. She was to be home very soon, as her two cousins from the East Coast were visiting, Suzanne and Leanne, her other cousin, Steve's, little sisters. Suzanne was fourteen, same as DJ, and Leanne was nine, as was Stephanie.

Leanne's eyes were glued to the tv, but Stephanie kept trying to get her to play Pictionary. Suzanne just rolled her eyes, saying that pictionary was a little kid's game, although she truly wanted to play.

"Why is DJ so late?" asked Danny.

"She called earlier," said Michelle, who had just woken up from a nap. "She has to pick up Kimmy from her chorus lesson."

"Munchkin," Jesse began, "We've been wondering where she has been for almost two hours. Why didn't you say anything?"

"Nobody asked!" replied Michelle.

"Uh, yes we did."

"Nobody asked me!"

"Michelle," Joey sighed. "You're much too cranky. You need to go back to bed."

"You got it, dude!" said Michelle, who climbed the steps up to her little room.

"Dad, where are Suzanne and Leanne staying?" asked Stephanie.

"Well," began Danny. "Suzanne and DJ get along so well, they'll have the big room. You and Leanne will stay in the alcove."

"The alcove?" asked Leanne, wrinkling her nose.

"At least SOMETHING got her attention," groaned Stephanie.

And with that, Stephanie dragged a whiny Leanne over to where pictionary was set up.

"HIIII!" DJ cheered as she entered the house.

"Hey!" yelled Suzanne, running up to her favorite cousin.

In all of that confusion, Leanne pulled herself away from Stephanie to greet DJ.

"She leaves me in the middle of pictionary?" wondered Stephanie. "How rude!"

In all of the joy, many groans were heard as Kimmy entered behind DJ.

"Hola, many Tanneritos!" Kimmy bellowed.

"Hi, you must be Kimmy," said Suzanne. "DJ's told me so much about you."

"Really? Like what?"

"She said she had a next-door neighbor our age who was tons of fun!"

"Well, that's me alright!"

"Sort of." said Stephanie.

"What's wrong, Steph?" asked Leanne. "Kimmy TEXT doesTEXT seem like fun."

Stephanie only dragged Leanne into the kitchen without an explanation.

"Steph, your cousins just got here." said Danny.

"So did Kimmy." Steph muttered.

"You guys," DJ said. "Kimmy has great news!"

"It would be great to hear it!" said Suzanne.

"It would be great to tell it!" said Kimmy.

"Great." said Becky, Danny, Joey and Jesse.

"Well," Kimmy began, "my chorus teacher says I have a really nice voice! I'm going to try out for the talent show!"

"Oh my gosh, are you having back-up singers?" asked Suzanne.

"Yeah. How 'bout it, Deej?" asked Kimmy.

"Oh, no no no no no! I couldn't. I couldn't have all the boys staring at me!"

"I could!" said Kimmy.

"But how about my cousins? They're great singers."

"I'd love to!" exclaimed Suzanne. "Let me ask my sister!"

"Oh, yeah, Kimmy:" DJ began. "I borrowed your sweater. It's on top of the dryer."

"Alright!" Kimmy said as she exited the room through the south entrance to the laundry room.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen:

"Hey!" said Suzanne, who just entered. "Leanne, wanna be a back-up singer with me when Kimmy does her act for the talent show?"

"Kimmy's gonna sing?" asked Stephanie. "Boy, she won't overshadow you guys!"

Leanne and Stephanie guffawed.

"Huh?" asked a confused Suzanne.

"According to Steph, if Kimmy's so revolting at everything she does, she definitly can't sing!" laughed Leanne.

"What is wrong with you?" asked Suzanne. "I mean, you don't even know her! She seemed like a lot of fun. Besides, Steph, you're being kind of harsh. Her vocal teacher did say she had a nice voice."

"Her vocal teacher is her Aunt Gammgee Gibbler. Her mom lets her in on part of her inheritence- she has to be nice to Kimmy!" said Stephanie.

Just then, everyone else came in, except Joey, who'd gone to wake up Michelle.

"DJ," asked Suzanne. "Can Kimmy sing?"

"I don't know." said DJ. "Her vocal teacher did say she had a lovely voice- even if the teacher was her aunt."

"Kimmy sing? Sorry Deej, can't come to that talent show." said Jesse.

"Yeah," said Becky. "Suzanne, Leanne, turn the back-up way high and Kimmy way low."

Joey emerged from the kitchen stairs with Michelle.

"Kimmy don't sing good." babbled Michelle.

"And how do you figure that, Michelle?" asked Suzanne.

"She bad at everything else!"

"Kid's gotta point." said Steph.

"Look," said DJ. "None of us has ever heard Kimmy sing. So we shouldn't jump to conclusions. Especially bad ones. Just think about that."

DJ and Suzanne headed toward DJ's room, while Steph and Leanna left for the alcove with everyone else going seperate ways.

Little did they know that kimmy had been getting her sweater, and had heard the whole thing.

"They're right." She said. "I'm bad at everything. Who says I'll be good at this? Maybe I shouldn't sing."

She picked up her sweater and headed out the back door with her head hanging low.
