Redstar walked along the Riverclan/Windclan border. She had to go on patrol because there were no other cats in her clan at the time, they had all been killed in a fierce battle between a now-dead leader who had the whole forest up against Riverclan. She smelled Windclan cats, so she ducked low to the ground.

Jeffclaw was disturbed and pulled out his soward. "Sill you..Of course there will not be a peace treaty. I know that you had an affair 2 weeks ago and he ran away from you. No peace treaty. The battle must go on!" Jeffclaw walked near the other troops and yelled, "Fire!"

Redstar heard noises. She recognized the voice. It was Jeffclaw, a Windclan warrior. "What are you doing, Jeffclaw? You've almost crossed my border!" Redstar exclaimed.
