Best Song In The world

Wow, I didn't even know he was talking about that song.  I figured it was some other song I'd never head of before.  A good choice, weird4, but not quite the right artist.  ;)

Since my last tiem I posted here, I feel the need to add.  No doubt I still those choices though.

Good Vibrations - The Beach Boys
Defined as a "pocket symphony".  No doubt why.  With my much more appreciation for albums as a whole, this is still something else.  There was nothing like it at the time.  It must have had at least 5 different parts to the song that easily could be great all on their own.  Hit the band at their highest commercial peak after the epic but underappreciated at the time Pet Sounds.  Found a remarkable balance between radio-friendly smash and pure innovation.

Oh sorry..My bad.
"Some dont believe he ever existed, but that isnt true. He was here, and he was real. The real question is what was he, and why was he here. Many rumors speculate as to what he was. Some believe he was some kind of demon worm creature who would pose as a librarian. Others believed he was an angel sent to spread the word of god. The truth is, I dont know what he was. All I know is what he taught me. Love, friendship, and what it means to truly live. Some call him a monster, something children are terrified by. I only know him by what he called himself. Weird 4." - nicest comment ever!

I'm bumping this up, just because with things like this they're bound to change over time.

I'm going to go with...

Time To Get Alone - The Beach Boys
Most people, unless you're a big fan or just happened to come across somehow, probably don't even recognize this one.  It's never played on the radio, was never a single, and is hidden away as a gem on a relatively unknown album.  But absolutely amazing singing in this one, and a great harmony.

Killing Me Softly - The Fugees

This song got a lot of recognition in the 90's, being one of the best remakes of all time (the original done by Roberta Flack)

Haha, well for me it always seems to be a Beach Boys song of some sorts.  I'm not exactly sure which one right now though, lol.
