This really should be in the Entertainment section.   A G-mod will need to move this.

As for the question, some of the best in my mind are as follows.

Sim City 4
The Sims
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Grand Theft Auto 3+
Guitar Hero
Metropolismania
NHL '-- (EA)
ATV Offroad Fury

These are just ones I'm thinking of right now and have played before though.  I don't know why I like these in particular, lol.

Okay here's mine:

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004
(the absolute best ever! Though perhaps i'm biased...  ;D)

Doom 3
(I didn't find it incredibly scary...a few jumpy moments...and it's a tad gory...but a fantastic game!  ;))

Quake 4
(Good game...bit gory...not as good as Doom 3...too action driven)

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
(I first got it about 6 or 7 years ago and I still like playing it to this day)

The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
(A very clever game involving a lot of time travel in order to finish the game in a limited amount of time)

Donkey Kong Country Series (I, II, III)
(First started playing this at about age 4. I still play it every now and again...it's a really fun series of games!  :))

Any Mario adventure or Mario Kart
(Let's face it...if you have a Nintendo you gotta get at least one Mario game!  ;D)

Perfect Dark
(For the N64...one of the best shoot-em-ups I've ever played)

Goldeneye
(For the N64 again...not as good as Perfect Dark...but great!)

 :)
Thanks,
Greg W

The original was the best game for the N64, I was very dissapointed with the remake though

I'd have to agree with others that The Sims 2 and SimCity 4 are exemplary games. I can't wait for SC5... it should be starting development about now.

With that in mind, I'll move this to the Entertainment section.

Ooh, didn't know about SC5, but I'll have to get that when it comes out.  I love the game's concept.

Oooh... they announced not too long ago that it will be released between April '07 and March '08 (a pretty broad range, but I guess they're not at that point in development yet).

Thanks for giving a new thing to get excited about, BL, lol.  I thought SC4 was a huge improvement over SC3000, so I'm curious to see how much better SC5 will end up being.

What would be cool is if they had pre made NYC or San Francisco and you had to manage it.

They do actually, MT FAN.  You can use pre-made land patterns that they've already made in the game.
