Due to complications with getting the chatroom back online with our current host, we will be moving to Paul's site, csidevotion.net, for hosting. As I speak, I am backing up all the site information on my hard drive before I cancel the hosting account with GoDaddy and move to Paul's site. As csidevotion.net processes the new information, howrude.org will briefly redirect to these forums once again. Thank you all for your cooperation, and we hope to have the chatroom and fanfiction sections back up and running!

I don't think they were stored elsewhere, so I think they will be there, good as new.

Considering how hard it is for FW to be on, I'd guess a week. But that means getting everything back on, of course, and excluding the chatroom, gallery, and fanfiction sections, it will take about 1-2 days.

Nope, just the site. The forums will still be at proboards.

Shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to get EVERYTHING back up (as BL said, only 1-2 days to get the basic stuff up), because my exams are over on Thursday (if there isn't a snowday..)
So yeah.

Yeah, only the site is moving. Hopefully if the server co-operates with me then we can get HR back up and running within the next 1-2 days. That excludes stuff like the gallery, fanfiction, and chat room as those have to be installed and configured.

As BL said, the domain will redirect here for the time being until the site is on the server. BL or someone from the site staff will post a reply letting everyone know that the site is back online. The server that HR will be hosted on is in the most-secure data center and has had no downtime in the 3 years it has been online.

So, I hope that everyone enjoys the new site when it becomes available for everyone!

If I am right they might be able to keep the howrude.org domain name however I don't know for sure. If not it would be something like this http://howrude.csidevotion.net , but that is just a guess.

We advise everyone to go to howrude.org to access the site. It will actually BE on howrude.org when we're finished (yes, no redirects), but while it's trying to get to howrude.org (about 1-2 days from now), this is the link:

At this time, howrude.org is now AT howrude.org. All we need to do now is get the fanfiction and gallery in operation, and we should be set!
