Are you still a FH fan?

When I first started watching the show, I didn't talk to anyone about it for months, 3 at least.  But after awhile I discovered places like this, and as I talked about FH more, I think I just became more obsessed.

I enjoy watching it on the DVDs even though its getting a little old I still find myself watching it and I like watching it if I need a good laugh to cheer me up

I suppose it's really hard for a show to maintain its novelty once you've seen the episodes several times (like with pretty much anything over time).  But even if the initial obsession has rubbed off, it can still be a favorite for a lot of people (like me, lol).  I'm still pretty much in the same spot as when I replied to this thread.

I agree with you fhf with the watching an episode so many times theory, that's what's happened to me although I still do like watching full house when I catch it.

Just like I've probably said in this thread, I still like FH, but the obsession I once for FH had is over.

The good thing for me is my list of yet to see episodes is not over.  It's exciting that there are still FH episodes to experience.  I made a list of it somewhere where I crossed out the ones I'd seen.  I don't think it's changed since then yet.

I've really almost been in more of a position to loathe FH since I first replied. I saw an episode today and it just embodied everything I hate about 80s/early 90s television, especially "after school specials" and "very special episodes"... just a heavy handed, unrealistic shell of a situation intended to move people towards a certain end. While FH handled the entire thing better than many other shows, just the idea just really embarrassed me, as I once really liked this show.

What episode was it, BL?

I usually don't like cliches in any case, but I still prefer TV over that time period over the heavily cynical outlook on a ton of shows today.

I still like it, I guess, but my obsession is way, way over. I was obsessed two years ago, and then actually started really disliking the show last year. This year, i've watched it a couple times, but only when nothing else is on. It's still a funny show, I just like other shows much better.

Yep, I know what you mean, bekah.  It's pretty hard for that initial obsession to stay forever, but that doesn't necessarily have to stop you from enjoying the show either.  Of course, with me as soon as I see something I haven't watched in a while a little mini obsession comes back anyways.  ;)

Yeah I TOTALLY get that! OMGSH!! yesterday or the day before I was watching Full House on ABC Family and I saw an episode that I had NEVER seen before!!!!! I was soooo amazed! I thought I had seen every episode but I guess not. I believe it was in Season 8, I own everything else...it was called Superbowl Fun-day...or something like that. I'm sure you have all seen it, I just never had!!

Oh yeah, I've seen that.  But there are others I haven't seen.  You miss them for whatever reason, but especially the holiday ones if they air only on the occasion.

I suppose it's possible with the one you mentioned that they actually left it out to air around Super Bowl time.  That's just a guess, but it could explain why you hadn't come across it before.
