Opinion on the First Season

There are a few episodes that aren't too bad but I feel some of them are boring.  The girls have the "cuteness factor" going for them and Michelle can't talk yet.

The first season is underrated in my opinion. It's not the best, but it has a different appeal to it than the other season (as many sitcoms' first seasons do).

i really just didn't like it....the actors hadn't quite gotten their characters down enough yet to be able to know how to treat them and how to make them more appealing, and i thought most of the eps were pretty bland, and a lot of them had the same themes lol: getting settled with their new lives.  it's a nice theme for like the 1st 3 eps and then you're like okay already, we get it!!

Season 1 was overall my least favourite season of FH.

I agree that there are some decent first season episodes. I Also like the "cuteness" factor for DJ and Steph in season 1.

That said, a lot of the episodes in Season 1 are quite boring, and some just downright stink. I don't like the character development for the three guys in season 1, and I don't like that they focus so much more on the three guys than on the girls. I don't like the whole theme of "wild guy" Jesse trying to fit into living in a house with two "not wild" guys and three girls. Also, I don't care for Michelle as a baby (I generally don't care for babies).

I voted for I'll watch it but I prefer other seasons. It's okay but the other seasons are better.

i don't really like babies all that much either leftturn...some are ok but basically most are "augh"  :P lol.  i didn't think DJ was all that cute then either, i thought she was pretty annoying up until the 3rd season, actually

I went with "I'll watch it but I prefer other seasons."  At the same time, it has some unique charm that wasn't seen that rest of the series, save maybe parts of season 2.  Some moments were bland, but the atmosphere was effective.  Ranks 6 of 8 in my season preferences, lol.

And also considering 1 was the first time I saw FH episodes for any amount of time, it has some classic status to me.

I voted I'll watch it but I prefer other seasons. Stephanie was amazing in season one and they're were some great episodes, but it wasn't the best.

Completley hated it, I voted it as boring.  There was no point to it, like season 2 had the Jesse/Becky thing, season 3 had nothing really but better episodes, season 4 with the wedding, season 5 with the twins, season 6 with the Joey/Jesse radio thing and the Danny/Vicky relationship, season 7 with the smash club and the Danny/Vicky breakup, and season 8 with Danny dating again and the DJ dating different peeps and stuff like that.

Yeah, in a way.  The humor quality and plots are higher in 7 and 8 but it's missing that above mentioned atmosphere that was really the thing that got me into the show above others.  I guess it's what I value the most of the show.  Also, the worst season 1 got was dull.  Season 7 and 8 got downright frustrating at moments, although that's not what I'm basing my 'rankings' on.

And fhfreak, I see you like the story arcs they used in the other seasons.

I agree with you there. I thought Stephanie was @ her best in Season 1, but the season was a little dull with some of the boring episodes and of course...no Becky.
