I think season 8 Michelle gets a bad rap from too many people. While Season 8 Michelle doesn't rock, I also don't think she stunk. I actually like some of the season 8 Michelle episodes. Some of them have really funny b-plots.

So I ask the question: Does Season 8 Michelle have any redeeming qualities?

There were a lot of annoying moments that didn't really give me a reason to believe she was any different from the year (maybe worse). Even when she wasn't acting spoiled, she seemed like a know-it-all, which wouldn't be so bad if the context wasn't her looking like the smart character all the time. Better than 5 though for sure.

I voted she was ok. Sometimes she tried to act like Steph and DJ a little too much but she was ok at other parts.

She was okay, but she was worse in Season 5 in my opinion.

She did and some humor and a great deal of drama to episodes, but here negative irratating qualities really tended to mask her good ones.

And yeah, she definitely was her worst in season 5.

Well in some episodes like maybe even the first part of the finale I believe the creators were trying to add some humor but all I could think about was how Michelle was being such a bitch lmao.

She was still very spoiled and seemed like she knew everything. Which I don't think was good. However I am not sure that she has gotten worse but I think it sorta stayed the same for Michelle.

That would be me.

There were a few episodes in that year that can compete for her worst moments. And although not as bad as season 5, her spoiled behavior didn't disappear. Whether you could blame her or the guys for her behavior, it doesn't make her that much more appealing. There were some bright moments of course, but it was one of her worse if you ask me. I think I'd rate the seasons for her as follows...

I think that's kind of a harsh word to be using to describe Michelle. I actually think that word is demeaning to women, and I would never use it. Part of the problem with the term is that it gets used to put down feisty girls and women simply for being feisty, ss though being feisty is not accepted behaviour for girls and women.

I would say that Michelle was more feisty than Steph and DJ, and it comes out more in season 8 than in most of the other seasons. And yes, she was annoying at times, but just being feisty didn't automatically make her annoying. To claim that it does is to succumb to sexist attitudes of what is and is not appropriate behaviour for girls and women.

That really wasn't the point of my post it was just a word I used to show how strongly annoying it could be certain at time. I apologize if my word choice offended you, I agree it might not have been the best choice. But back on topic, my main point was that I feel that the creators expressed her "feisty" personality too strongly in some episodes.

"bitch" has basically become a word used to describe anyone you don't like, or as a joke to a friend....i use it sometimes, and i very rarely take it seriously when people call me one

because it's usually used in jest. but of course it's degrading to women, if it weren't then it wouldn't be an insult! it's the exact same as calling a guy an asshole, it's not like calling a chick a bitch is being sexist or anything (depends on the situation, but usually i mean). the way he was using it, to describe michelle, seems appropriate as michelle was an attention hog and a drama queen, both of which seem like qualities of a "bitch" to me
