she just ticks me off so much; if it's a "Michelle Effect" episode, i change the channel  :P, or i change the channel during her parts and only watch the sub plots

wow... i thought i was the only one who did that

I do that also.  I will turn off FH and not watch it if it is a "Michelle Effect" episode because her acting makes me sick.  She is terrible when she gets older IMO.

I seriously have no problem with Michelle. She is a very good character, and I don't see why everyone has so much hatred towards her.

Although I'm usually okay with sibling rivalries and even conflicts, I think things went to a little too far beyond the good spirit that can come with this.  It didn't help with the adults letting her get away with so much either.

The more I read the hateful posts about Michelle, the more I agree with AJ's post that there is nothing wrong with Michelle.

it does depend on the episode, i agree, because there were a few where she was cute and/or funny, but mostly i didn't like her  :P

she got obnoxious around season 3-4, i'd say....as a baby she was just kind of there and didn't do much tho, so i guess she was OK thru season 3 actually

Yeah, I guess part of it is that I also have a bratty little sister.  It wasn't until I saw The House Meets the Mouse and read an old diary of mine that I realized what a brat my sister has been and how mistreated I have been over my lifetime.

I'd say the problems began pretty much exactly at the start of season 4.  The dynamics of her character in relation to the rest of the family changed as well.  Michelle still had some good performances after this of course, but I do believe this was around the time the controversy over her character started to take notice.

The more I read the hateful posts about Michelle, the more I agree with this sentiment.

I agree so much... at first I thought Michelle was a good character but then once I started to read these posts and continue watching the later seasons I began to see Michelle like a lot of the members here... and from then on I basically stopped liking her...

No you don't agree with me. The sentiment I said I agree with is AJ's sentiment that there's nothing wrong with Michelle.

I've edited that post so there can be no confusion as to what I'm agreeing with.

Michelle can be okay... even in the later episodes I guess I've just grown to dislike her cause many of the later episodes she was suppose to be the center of attention and that wasnt right it should have revolved around everyone equally

I think as time has passed, I've just been able to define when and what I don't like about her character.

There's a good number of episodes where she's fine (ncluding the first three season where I didn't have a problem).  Then the next two season came around, which brought her spoiled behavior in 4 and bratty behavior in 5.  This featured a good chunk of some of her more 'notorious' moments.  6 and 7 were an improvement, but with some notable exceptions.  I'm not fond of her character in 8 either.  She brings out some of the behavior that has made some people frustrated with her, despite that since those times she is now older and a bit more aware.
