I remember that Mary-Kate & Ashley appeared in "Sister Sister" as themselves where they were competing with Tia & Tamera in a tv gameshow.
The show also had a refrence to them in the episode where Tia & Tamera start college:
- "Diavian was voted 2nd best dressed in high school. We won, offcourse"
- "Way to go, Mary-Kate & Ashley!"
- "Excuse me.. Well you better hope Mary-Kate holds me back, because Ashley is about to break you down!"

I watched Step By Step a few times, not enough to remember all the characters names or anything, but I remember one kid complaining about his bedtime, and he said, "Even the kids on Full House get to stay up later."  The first time I saw SBS, it had that same kind of attraction as FH, and at the end I saw that it was made by the same company.  I wish shows like that were still made today.  Shows today just don't have that same feeling.

Also, this isn't really a reference, but Candace Cameron also played a part  on That's So Raven, which is also set in San Francisco.  She played someone else on the show though, not DJ.  I thought it would be interseting if she played DJ, then we would see what she grew up to be, that she's still living in San Fran, etc.

Yeah, I believe SBS was concocted for another FH-like show.  And because of the success of FH, it was referenced a few times on that show.  The two direct mentions have been about Michelle and Jesse.

I like shows like that too.  The darker perspective of things is fine, but that seems to be almost all there is left of shows now.

I found a clip on youtube of an online show called "Diggination" in which they discuss Stephanie Tanner/Jodie Sweetin.

Digination: Stephanie Tanner discussion

Just a warning that some members might find it inappropriate.  But for those who think they can handle it, go ahead.

At least for once they don't discuss her meth addiction (unless that was before it happened perhaps).
