Well, I am having problems with the new server, but I don't know if it affects everyone who visits the site. When you go to http://howrude.org/content.php, you get a popup box that says to download "file dzcdszdsdssxc" from server howrude.org. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE!! The file that is listed is a virus that has been posted to the entire server.

What happened was Apache failed, then CPanel 11 failed, then PHP/MySQL failed, now the entire server isn't allowing anyone access. Yet if you go to the HR Videos site and the CSI Devotion site, it says "Server Not Found." Even though the server is still online as I can access via FTP.

I assure you that I am taking matters into my own hands, and I have made personal contact with my host and I was assured that the upgrade to CPanel 11 messed everything up and they were working on getting it back online ASAP. If problems are not resolved with this issue in 48 hours, then I will be forced to shutdown my hosting reseller and leave Bizari for their terrible support.

The thing is, the whole howrude.org doesn't even LOAD for me. lol I thought it was just my computer. I was able to access the FTP server as well..

we should totally sue them haha

um.. well good luck, Paul. Bizari seems a tad unreliable, no?

Yeah, the downtime is really bad and they are a bit unreliable. But I personally know Jake the owner so he knows what he is doing.

I'm hoping that everything gets straightened out- if not then we will have to move somewhere else because I am sick of this... but I hope that doesn't have to happen.

it's really REALLY annoying though when the server keeps going down - people keep removing HR from their affiliates, lol

if you stay with Bizari, I suggest you talk to Jake about all these problems

That does sound like quite a mess, and me not being a computer-savvy person, not much else to add. Here's hope to fixing this as soon as you can.

Paul, I really think you should consider getting different hosting for HR. Just because you know the guy that runs Bizari isn't sufficient reason to stay with them when their hosting service is this unreliable. It seem to be going down about once a month or so, and to me that seems like really crappy service.

Thanks everyone for your comments! I am looking for new hosting for HR as well as my reseller (which I want because I want to continue hosting). My datacenter just emailed me saying that we will be getting a temporary server for the time being until they fix the current server. I'll move HR over to the temp server, but that is the only site that I host that will be moved over.

I want to get HR back online ASAP, but so far, Jake doesn't want to cooperate with me. I am in the process of contacting some free hosts who offer resellers because I don't have time to make 150 posts every month for my reseller.

I hate to double post, but I just wanted to update everyone on the situation at the current time. On Tuesday, April 24, 2007, my datacenter administrator (guy in charge of everything) sent me an email saying that they found the problem AND that it was fixable within the next three days; and if not then he would send me details on moving me to a temporary server. Well, that was 4 days ago, and still no answer from him.

The server is still messed up by CPanel 11 and Jake is never on AIM/Bizari Support to answer my questions. I have already changed the nameservers on my domain, and I have setup a backup site on my10gb.com. I need to get my site online ASAP because I currently get 120 hits a day, and that is all going down the drain.

Now, BL, if you want temporary hosting, then I suggest my10gb.com. They don't use CPanel, but something with less features called LayeredPanel. You can pretty much add/edit MySQL databases, and it also has a "Fantastico-like" feature, which allows you to install apps like SMF, Coppermine, etc.... I have been really happy with them! The only downside about it is that they automatically add a "Hosted by my10gb.com", but you can never see it.

If I hear anything from my host, I'll let you know. Otherwise, I am ending my tenure of being hosted by Bizari!!

sooo.. umm, will HR's gallery have to be set up (AGAIN)? Lots of hard work..
Wow.. we really need a reliable host because HR keeps going down and people think it's dead and never come back

and then we have to set everything back up when it gets back up.

by the way, howrude.org isn't redirecting anywhere right now.. so yeah, if you get the chance BL, could you change it? thanks..

Hopefully this all works out.

Yeah.

I thought it was just a virus on my comp, but I guess not. Hope you can fix it!
