I'm glad at least it's supposed to be cooler this weekend. Is anyone doing anything exciting?
I'm back

Not me, but then again I don't do exciting things very well.  ;D  I like to just relax, maybe spend some time with family.  Probably doesn't sound all that fun to you.

Nope, we were going to go down for some Memorial Day parade thing but I'm sick so I don't know if we're going.  I was also supposed to go to my grandma's house yesterday because we were gonna see The Color Purple in Chicago because she has two tickets, but she just went with my aunt because I couldn't go.

Yikes, that illness is getting away in quite a few things I guess then.  I've had things like that in the past.  You get better but it was quite frustrating while you had it.

Never liked parades, especially after having to march in them. One of the reasons I'm quitting band next year, I hate marching.
I'm back

Yeah, band is one of those acitivities (along with plays) that I could never see myself being a part of.  My family and I used to always go to parades.  Now I just find them noisy and crowded, lol.

I like the candy, lol.  I remember I was in a parade last year and it was pouring rain for like an hour.  But I'd rather be on the computer.  Like last night, I was on the computer for sooooooooo long and I was nearly on the whole day because I didn't go to school.  I was getting bored, and all I wanted was people to post on HR so I could keep posting.  LOL.  I needed some excitement, of course though, I was sick. =P

It's still rainy/cloudy/depressing weather for me. I have a feeling this whooooooooole summer is gonna be rain, rain, rain, and even more rain. What a terrible start to my summer vacation.

It's beautiful in the southern part of the US now  ;D. I'm going to have a sleepover with some friends and we're going swimming and tanning at the waterpark. Looks like a nice 3-day weekened!

[EDIT: Nice idea for a thread FHF!]

It's really nice here too! I'm going to go to Universal on Wednesday, I'm giving some time for the Memorial Day Weekend tourists to clear out because I can't stand waiting in line. I'm also sick, with just a cold though. It started out with a sore throat and now it's more of a stuffy nose than anything. None of my friends are hurt, but I am getting dental work done lol. I was at the orthodontist yesterday because my dentist finally gave me the referral to get braces. So they did the x-rays and stuff and they said I'm going to need braces for about a year and a half. And that's pretty much it.  ;D

There's no sun here, but it's really warm. I just got back from swimming! The swim club opened today. I hate my braces.  :P

Lucky I don't have to put up with braces anymore. Although I do have that retainer I have to wear at night...

Ugh braces suck... this thread sounds depressing lol.  NOW I know what I'm doing this weekend.

For school, we have a project called "The Living Wax Museum" and each person has to pick a dead famous person that contributed to history.  Our teacher is gay and won't let us do musicians or athletes.  Well the only musician we can do is Elvis and the only athlete we can do is Jackie Robinson.  Blah... well then we have to type a report.   We also have to talk in 1st person in front of the class and dress up like them.  It's kinda cool... I'm doing Van Gogh.  But I wanted to do John Lennon but she wouldn't let me do him.   :P

That sounds like a cool assignment, cooler than the ones that I end up having to do.  :P

It's actually kind of interesting.  I'll post the report in my blog when I'm done with it.  Maybe I can get some pictures of my costume that I can post.
