Best Two-Parter?

My favortie would have to be Happy Birthday Babies, especially the first part with the series of clips from the first five seasons they showed.

For some reason, I remember one like this before.  But I can't find it anywhere and it was quite a while ago.

I'll definitely go with Luck Be A Lady.  I love that for a two-parter, whether it be Jesse/Becky story or the DJ and Steph one.  I thought the Seven Month Itch was quite bland (save for the parts with the girls and the ending to part 1).  I didn't mind the Wedding but I don't like it especially other than it being a landmark episode.  The House Meets the Mouse has a nice ending, but was kind of frustrating.  Michelle Rides Again had some good and funny bits, but I don't care for the idea of the A-story.

You missed Captain Video lol.  But it's not my favorite.  I think my favorite would have to be The House Meets The Mouse or Luck Be A Lady... I'll vote for Luck Be A Lady, though they were all pretty good.

I like Luck Be a Lady the best because the plot was really nice. I like the Captain Video's ending because I love the video they made at the end. The House Meets the Mouse wasn't anything fantastic but the ending was so sweet. I didn't care for the plot of the Seven Month Itch but it was still nice. The Wedding was your typical wedding episode (except maybe they wouldnt go skydiving) but still. Michelle Rides Again had a great ending but I wouldn't say it was the best.

I voted for Luck Be A Lady.  The Steph and DJ parts are hillarious. The Jesse/Becky plot is a little bit frustrating, but not boring.

Runner up is Michelle Rides Again. I like the Steph plot, and the DJ plot, but the Michelle plot just drags.

The Seven Month Itch had some cute moments for DJ and Steph in the second part that I really liked. However, Jesse's attitude was frustrating.

The only parts of The Wedding that I liked were the opening scene where Steph & DJ are filming the beginning of the "A Making of a Wedding video", Steph reading uncle Jesse's note, and possibly  when Michelle calls Howie a hunk. However, don't like Becky's father, who sounds like a male chauvinist pig; I don't like Jesse's insecurity/irrational behaviour; and the second part is either over the top unbelievable, or way too sappy for my tastes.

The first half of Happy Birthday Babies is an excuse for a Michelle montage that I didn't really enjoy. I don't find the second half to be that good either, it's really only notable for Nicky & Alex's birth (and maybe seeing DJ & Steph dressed up as Wilma and Betty). I wasn't a big fan of the humour around Danny going to the hospital in the Dino suit, and Jesse having the operation and being groggy and out of it while his kids are bing born.

I don't find The House Meets The Mouse boring, and I only find Michelle a little frustrating. What bothers me more as someone on the left of the political spectrum is that they did an episode at Disney World, given what Disney represents, ie. monopoly capitalism & hegemony.

Oh, and you forgot to put Captain Video on the poll. I don't mind that one, althought Jesse's insecurites got to me again, and the Genie rap thing wasn't doing it for me. As in why did Jesse even go along with this for a short time? Also, the Beach Boys wern't doing it for me, even if they gave Jesse Forever.

I voted for Luck Be A Lady.

I love the drama and suspense in it when Becky leaves Jesse at the alter.

And the DJ/Stephanie/Joey plot was funny.

Oh yeah, Captain Video.  I quite like that one.  I would rank it second behind Luck Be A Lady.  The Beach Boys' involvement in that one didn't do anything for me because there were no Wilsons involved (only 2 regular members were there).  Although I think the original was fantastic, I'm not a fan of the variations.  Stephanie's dance was a highlight of that episode I think.

I voted for Luck Be A Lady.  I especially liked how the DJ/Steph plot was 2-parts.  The first half of hte episode, it was about them pulling the lever to win the jackpot, the second half was about them solving the mystery.  I also loved these lines:

DJ: Fight it, Steph!
Steph: P-pardon me a moment. (Whispers to Michelle)
Michelle: Jesse's getting married?

Yeah, I enjoyed the scenes in the hotel room.  Jesse pretending to be talking on the phone to give the guys a different impression was hilarious.

Yeah, I love the whole scene  leading up to that quote. I also love the scene where DJ & Steph think they won the jackpot.

One complaint I did have about the episode was the hotel manager guy.  He was horribly annoying to me, lol.  The ending to the Steph/DJ didn't live up to everything beforehand because of that, but it didn't diminish my opinion of the episode.

I couldn't decide between House Meets the Mouse and Luck be a Lady, so i went with House/Mouse 'cause I felt sorry for it  :P

"I like escalators because an escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You'll never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience. We apologize that you can still get up there."

"I was in a casino, I was standing by the door, and a security guard came over and said 'You're gonna have to move. You're blocking the fire exit.' As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table."

Mr. Ali Babba, the hotel manger, was hillarious, IMO.

Mr. Ali Babba: Welcome to the fabulous Ali-Babba hotel and casino.

Mr. Ali Babba: No, but you can keep this tape as a souvenir of not having won the jackpot.

Mr. Ali-Babba: Three minutes to the Copleman wedding. Move it people!
