Has anyone seen that commercial? Like, everyone is talking about it and saying the Idk My BFF Jill thing. I's some commercial for verizon wireless and they have this girl who is texing and she's like Idk My BFF Jill. Has anyone seen that although I assume you have.

Yeah, we talked a lot about it in the Fun Thread and the one commercial thread.   It's a decent advertisement but I don't obsess over whatsoever.

I liked it till I asked someone a pretty serious question and they replied "IDK my bff Jill" and I got really ticked and took a disliking to the commercial just because the line is getting annoying. But it is a good commercial overall however like fhf I do not obsess over it.

I'm not obsessed with it either, but its still a cool commercial. Good thing they have a translator at the bottom of the TV to translate the girls text talk. lol

I get like that sometimes.  I remember the commercial but not the product, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the advertisement.    Not that a commercial usually affect me to buy anything anyways.

I know why it's popular, because everyone can relate to going over their texting minute and talking in text talk.  I used to love it, but now it's just getting really old.

Well, not everyone.  Really I'm quite disjointed from that sort of thing for someone who spends as much time on the computer as I manage to.  HR is probably the only place I've seen people particularly into it.

Well yeah, not everyone.  My friends use the chatspeak a lot, and I have one friend who gets on my YouTube account and comments videoes with heavy chatspeak, I hate using it in really public places because it makes me feel like a loser, I don't know why.  I text with this one guy  A LOT, well he texts me and I text back, and one time we were texting for 2 1/2 hours straight, it got weird, but I had nothing better to do.

Eh... well, the "IDK my BFF Rose" was funnier than "IDK my BFF Jill"... I guess cause there are a few people at my school who actually talk somewhat like that LOL.
