Actually, Another Opening, Another No Show wasn't bad.  I didn't really like the turn the show was taking at that point, but it was quite full of humor.

I never really cared for the disastrous Smash Club opening plot. I mean, being so unprepared that you can't get a guy his capuccino and a sticky bun in a decent ammount of time? If they were that unprepared to open the club, they should have postponed the opening.  The R.E.M. mixup could have been better handled, as in they could have announced the mixup rather then just having Renee, Esther and Martha walk out on stage when the audience was expecting the real R.E.M. The humour of Jesse & Kimmy getting locked in the storage room together didn't do it for me. And then the opening is somehow saved just because Jesse shows up? Come on.

yeah, it was kind of amusing but at the same time pretty lame.....to sum it all up LOL

"I was in a casino, I was standing by the door, and a security guard came over and said 'You're gonna have to move. You're blocking the fire exit.' As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table."

I didn't expect to be overly realistic, but I guess that can be true for quite a few episodes.  But that didn't really bother me either.  At least for once they didn't have a celebrity guest star come in rock the party.

I agree that it's good they didn't have a celebrity rock star come in and rock the party. However, they could have done better than Renee, Esther and Martha. They could have had Joey do some comedy, and they could have had Jesse & The Rippers perform. They could have had Nick & Irene come to the big event, that would have been cool.

It's still interesting how Jesse's parents never ended coming on after the Wedding, even on special occasions.  It would probably be strange to see them there after so long, although if they had made appearances in between it wouldn't really matter.

I don't mind the idea of the name mixup, and instead of having a popular alternative rock band you have three elderly ladies.  Generally I'm not a big fan of the performing episodes in general, so whatever they decided on likely wouldn't make too much of a difference to me personally.

I wish they had Nick & Irene in either Happy Birthday Babies or Nicky and/or Alexander, so they could have seen Nicky & Alex right after they were born. I've also previously mentioned Greek Week as another episode where Nick & Irene would have been likely to show uo, at Papouli and Gina's 50th wedding anniversary.

I voted for "Another Opening, Another No Show" because it had humor in it and had a good plot. "Kissing Cousins" was another one I liked a lot.
